Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of activities for anyone aged 14-24. Doing their D of E gives young people the opportunity to experience new activities or develop existing skills.

There are three progressive levels of programmes which, when successfully completed, lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. Young people create their own D of E programme by choosing Volunteering, Physical and Skills activities, going on an Expedition and, for their gold only, a Residential activity.

Within Scouting, this links directly to the Chief Scout’s Platinum, Diamond and Queen’s Scout Awards. As the Scout Awards and D of E are so closely aligned you might as well gain both awards together. Remember if working towards your Gold D of E Award and your Queens Scout Award you now need to register before starting your Queens Scout Award.

To register for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award with The White Field Explorer Unit, please use the enrolment form below.
